Stop with the Cheap T-Shirts
Your margin might be growing, but your brand could be paying the price.

Quality Matters More Than Ever
You are reading a blog post by me, so get ready for a bit of a rant.
Stop with the cheap
T-shirts. Seriously.
STOP IT.
Lately, I've been doing some
boots-on-the-ground market research,
visiting national parks, tourist
destinations, golf courses, breweries,
and Comic-Con-style events.
Everywhere I go,
I keep seeing the same trend.
Beautiful artwork. Cheap shirts.
And it's costing brands more than
they realize.
When Great Designs
End Up on the Wrong Shirt
Listen, I get it.
Your customer has a budget. You want to maximize your margin. So you pick the cheapest, thinnest, lowest-thread-count, completely see-through white T-shirt available. You put an amazing design on it, hang it on the rack, and ask customers to pay premium prices.
People notice the shirt before they notice the print.
I can't tell you how often my family and I absolutely LOVE a design, only to walk away because of the cheap, scratchy fabric it's printed on.
And to be clear, I'm not talking about proven industry staples like the Gildan 5000 or even the Gildan 2000.
I'm talking about mystery garments that seem to appear out of nowhere.

Don't Gamble
on Mystery Apparel
We all receive emails like this:
"Best Quality Sportswear Manufacturer..."
"Custom manufacturing..."
"Premium quality..."
"Lowest prices..."
Usually from an unfamiliar supplier you've never heard of.
When you gamble your brand on mystery fabric
from an unverified supplier,
your customers notice.
They touch it.
They see through it.
They put it back.
Saving a few cents on the blank often costs you repeat business.
Your Artwork
Deserves a
Better Canvas
Great decoration deserves great apparel.
Customers remember how a shirt
feels long after they've admired the design.
Choosing trusted brands means better
comfort, better quality, stronger customer
satisfaction, and more repeat business.
Put your beautiful artwork
on a quality canvas.
I promise you, the repeat business,
brand loyalty, and increased sales
velocity will return your investment
many times over.
Cheap blanks may
improve margins today
but quality apparel builds customers for
years. Invest in garments people actually
want to wear, and your brand will stand out
long after the sale.
